BLOG

From the Vente a “Caleyar” blog, my goal is to bring you closer to the history of Asturias in a lively and engaging way. I’m not a historian or a specialist in any particular field, but I am a tour guide, full of curiosity and eager to share what I know—and everything I keep learning—about this Natural Paradise, my homeland.

Each post includes information on Asturian cities, towns and villages, their natural spaces, beaches, geological formations, and cultural heritage. Everything is personally researched and written by me (no AI involved; except in the translation to English), with carefully verified information from multiple sources.

I don’t update the blog very often because most of my time is spent “caleyando”—wandering and exploring the hidden corners of Asturias. If you’d like to explore Asturias with me in person, and expand on the information you find here, you can join my small-group guided tours and excursions across the region.
