CAPES, PORTS and SEA TOUR

Few places make me feel freer than returning to my roots on the rocks of Cabu Peñes. On the “Capes, Ports and Sea” tour, you’ll discover the life and history of this stunning coastline. We’ll start at a cape, Cabo de Peñas, visit the fishing ports of Luanco and Cudillero, and finish by the sea at Playa del Silencio.

Small Group Excursion – Full Day (Approx. 8 hours)

This is a small-group tour lasting approximately 8 hours, with an official Asturias guide and transport in a comfortable 9-seat Mercedes Vito minivan.

The tour costs €60 per person (VAT included) and is guaranteed with a minimum of 2 participants, so there’s no risk of cancellation. Pick-up is available from your accommodation in Gijón or Oviedo, around 10:00 am. For a fully private or tailored tour, just ask, and I’ll prepare a proposal for you.

If you have limited mobility, let me know and you’ll still be able to enjoy the surroundings. For everyone else, comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended for walking in the area. Asturias’ weather can be unpredictable, so it’s also wise to bring a raincoat/umbrella and sunscreen.

The journey is relaxed and enjoyable, sharing stories and curiosities about the villages we pass through.

Cabu Peñes / Cabo de Peñas

First, we’ll head to Cabo de Peñas, the northernmost point of Asturias, where cliffs over 100 meters high offer breathtaking views of the coastal plateau.

Luanco

Next, just 10 minutes away, we reach the charming fishing village of Luanco. A gentle stroll through the old town brings us to the Baroque Church of Santa María, almost kissed by the Cantabrian Sea.

Here we also take a break for the meal (not included) to recharge before the next stop.

Cudillero

After lunch, we continue to Cudillero, one of Asturias’ most famous fishing villages. Known for its amphitheater-like layout around the sea, it immerses us in traditional maritime life. Its viewpoints offer stunning panoramas, but be ready to climb the stairs and steep streets!

Playa del Gavieiru / Playa del Silencio

Finally, the tour ends at a beautiful cove, Silence Beach, a peaceful and tranquil spot. Let’s see if the name truly lives up to its reputation!
